Boston University and CompNet will be hosting a Science of Baseball Seminar.

This event is open to the public but requires a ticket for entry. All proceeds of the event will go to the Jimmy Fund.

A limited number of free tickets have been set aside for CompNet members, with priority given to CompNet and CELEST students. If you are a CompNet or CELEST member and are interested in one of the free tickets, please contact Prof. David Somers.

About the Event

The seminar will feature presentations and panel discussions with Red Sox manager John Farrell, Red Sox GM Ben Cherrington, and Astros GM Jeff Luhnow. Aaron Seitz, a BU CNS PhD alum, will discuss his perceptual learning work with baseball players and BU prof Bob Stern will discuss Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy in baseball and other sports.
