Professor Tim Gardner received a $450,000 grant award from NIH for a research project entitled “Tunneling microfiber electrode arrays for stable neural recording” for the period April 1, 2014 – March 31, 2016.

Research Assistant Professor Anatoli Gorchetchnikov received a $253,000 grant award from NASA for Phase II of a research project entitled “Adaptive bio-inspired navigation for planetary exploration” for the period October 1, 2013 – July 22, 2015.

Professor Barbara Shinn-Cunningham received a $206,000 grant award from the Oticon-Eriksholm Research Centre in Denmark for a research project entitled “Determining attentional focus from electroencephalography in hearing impaired listeners” for the period April 1, 2014 – March 31, 2016.
