The Cognitive Neuroimaging Laboratory is part of the Center for Memory and Brain and the Department of Psychology at Boston University. Research in the laboratory focuses on mapping the human brain using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). Theprimary goal is to study how the normal brain encodes, maintains, and retrieves visual, spatial, and verbal information. In addition to studies of normal short-term and long-term memory processes, the lab is currently using behavioral testing and fMRI to study normal aging and Parkinson's disease.
